About The Role
Summary:

The Loan Department is a major part of the continued success of Citizens Community Bank. The primary function of the Loan Operations Department is to provide support to our lenders and contribute to the overall success of the bank Loan Department. A Loan Processor achieves that support by assisting lenders with their loan requests and by providing clerical and administrative support to process and maintain all types of customer loans in addition to other functions. This is a full-time, in-person position in order to work with the lenders and collaborate with other departments.
Essential Functions:
  • Enter Consumer and Commercial loans into the Bank's software program to create loan documents.
  • Book Consumer and Commercial loans into the Bank's system.
  • Provide follow up with loan officers and assistants regarding outstanding collateral items, (i.e. Vehicle Titles, Deeds of Trust, Title Policies) to ensure proper lien position.
  • File loan documents with the appropriate agencies to ensure the security interest of the Bank is perfected.
  • Scan, index and verify loan documents into the Bank's system.
  • Process loan payoffs and release corresponding collateral items.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Cross sells other products and services.
  • Processes deposits, loan payments and fund transfers for customers.
  • Regular, on-site attendance during standard business hours is required to perform the duties of this position.
  • Regular and predictable attendance to accomplish assigned job duties.
  • Additional duties as requested or assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Community Service and Bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of CCB.
  • Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel).
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
  • Represent in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Banking experience preferred.
  • High degree of attention to detail as well as excellent organizational skills to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have ability to prioritize and organize heavy workloads and demonstrate effective time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to work in a professional manner and consistently demonstrate courtesy, customer service, and tact in a fast-paced/deadlines-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately: perform effectively under pressure; meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines and make decisions based on regulations, company policies, knowledge, and experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. We offer an extensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. PTO accruals begin at .0745 per hour worked for our part time employees up to a maximum accrual of 240 hours per year for certain Full-Time employees. PTO accruals are dependent on position, status (Full time or Part time), and years of experience in accordance with our PTO policy. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
