Job description

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Full-time Payroll Processor at our Headquarters location in Warren, OH.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review weekly timecards and applicable paperwork; follow up with field on missing items
  • Communicate with field managers on any issues as they relate to payroll policies/guidelines
  • Calculate hours and earnings for multiple accounts
  • Conduct data time entry of total hours for multiple accounts
  • Review of payroll data for integrity and compliance to policy and procedures
  • Complete routine audits of HR and Payroll Data to be reported to the Payroll Department Manager
  • Sort, bag, and distribute weekly paychecks
  • Analyze payroll data to ensure federal and state law compliance
  • Answer all customer inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in processing payroll with ADP is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and knowledge of Windows-based applications
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Attentive to details
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision and also with a team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent follow through skills
