Job description

Senior Helpers is seeking a dynamic leader to run our Northern Queens location. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and have a breadth of hands-on experience in operations, business, and sales development in home care or a closely related care industry. This role is paid hourly, and will start with one day/week and grow with business as business grows and our needs expand. Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations, provide daily support and leadership to care and office teams.
  • Strategize, organize, the daily work of the company.
  • Maintain CRM and prospect follow-up for sales pipeline.
  • Formulate strategies for both new and existing partnerships, joint ventures and/or alliances.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of specific strategies that will ensure high-quality client care and effective utilization of resources, for growth and financial viability.
  • Assist in staffing and recruitment initiatives that meet and support business needs.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local compliance practices.
  • Adhere to processes and practices around company administration and policy.
  • Oversee accurate time keeping and records; collaborate with Payroll.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive landscape. Identify opportunities for market and client expansion, and new business development.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or needed.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate has an active HHA/PCA license in the state of NY.
  • Bilingual is preferred. 
  • Senior care experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrable sales, sales development, and sales management experience
  • Possess a strong business acumen.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
  • Proactive, ability to take initiative and to foresee potential issues and provide multiple resolutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills with both subordinate team and corporate partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required.
  • Ability to learn software programs quickly.
  • Strong leadership skills. 
  • Good with customer service - this is a client-facing role.
