Job description

Job Overview

The Director Enterprise Delivery Services, in support of their assigned strategic focus area develops, implements, and executes strategies to deliver on the Healthfirst strategic plan. This person has the responsibility to educate the company, suppliers and other invested parties on all technology, process and organization changes in his/her assigned focus area. This position plays a major role in the enterprise transformation of Healthfirst and will oversee any ongoing implementation or refinement after any launch or process improvement changes are released into the business. Will engage in a highly collaborative manner with our leaders and will partner to ensure the success of all change management efforts. As a people leader he/she values developing team member curiosity and supporting their growth. This position requires three days per week in office (Tues/Wed/Thurs) at 100 Church Street, NYC

Responsibilities
  • Lead various Healthfirst leadership and initiative teams in the development of the transformation blueprint needed to deliver the specific strategic objectives for the assigned focus area
  • Lead and support enterprise-wide initiatives with the ability to operate across multiple domains and functional areas
  • Focuses on driving outcomes at the enterprise level, often across multiple teams and functional areas
  • Define/refine strategic imperatives for assigned focus area; Lead or support initiatives across Enterprise Delivery teams, as needed
  • Lead solution design across operations and technology teams to build out delivery roadmaps
  • Monitor & manage business value delivery to impacted operational areas
  • Collaborate with and support across various functional operations owners and across enterprise delivery teams to prioritize and ensure the successful implementation of the defined roadmap and advance key initiatives
  • Accountable for the operational and user readiness for the delivery of changes; understand the impact of change, translate the approach to manage adoption and mitigate resistance
  • Create and deploy training and development strategies as needed
  • Guide change management planning and facilitation of change initiatives
  • Partner across the Enterprise Delivery Services leadership team to identify and highlight conflicts, risks, prioritization needs and interdependencies for leadership evaluation and prioritization
  • May lead a team of Agile Product Owners, Program Managers, etc, Performs all other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
  • HS Diploma or GED from an Accredited Institution
  • Demonstrates the ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and seamlessly transition between initiatives
  • Rapidly ramps up in new focus areas, gaining context and contributing effectively with minimal onboarding
  • Brings a “hit the ground running” mindset, delivering value early while navigating evolving enterprise needs
  • Agile Mindset: Experience embodying Agile core values of openness, courage, respect, focus, and commitment. Infuse Agile principles, practices and methodologies to achieve team success.

  • Industry work experience in healthcare such as hospital, managed or long-term care, insurance, government or other healthcare agency
  • Experience working directly with Agile multiple teams on projects in role as Product Owner, Agile Coach, or Product Manager
  • Experience managing project delivery & change management within specific timeframes
  • Experience using spreadsheet software (e.g. MS Excel) to manipulate data using formulas and creating pivot tables, etc.
  • Experience using Version One, Jira, or other agile software delivery management tool
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of Product Management or equivalent experience with successful history of delivering complex solutions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Process and delivery training and/or certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or LEAN SAFe certifications (SP, SPC, or PM/PO)
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following is a plus: health plan operations (technology and processes) knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) and Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations AI for Agile software development is a plus

Salary and Benefits

Hiring Range*: Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $174,700 - $267,155 All Other Locations (within approved locations): $143,400 - $219,300 As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision. In addition to your salary, Healthfirst offers employees a full range of benefits such as, medical, dental and vision coverage, incentive and recognition programs, life insurance, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
