Job description

Title: Service Coordinator

Reports To: Branch Manager

Job Purpose:

A Service Coordinator assist with managing all personnel and administrative aspects of the branches overhead crane service work. The Service coordinator will field varying types of service requests from customers. The service requests will require the Service Coordinator to be efficient and resourceful with dispatching technicians, order entry, reviewing reports and procurement. The position is vital to providing support to other Ace team members and our customers. Administrative duties include HR assistance, safety and fleet services support.

Essential Duties:

  • Collaborate with Ace technicians and other team members on customer work requests
  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs or inspections
  • Maintains rapport with customers by examining work requests, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques
  • Builds and maintains customer confidence by maintaining good response times, informing customer of problems, and completing work in a timely manner
  • Review reports for grammar errors, regulation accuracy, and other crucial info
  • • Research inspections via computer application and renew recurring inspections
  • Confirm completion of service work and invoice jobs
  • Perform HR, safety and fleet administration duties
  • Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas
