Idealease Mobile Service Technician

Location: Ward Idealease Mobile Al.

Position Overview:

The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services for Idealease customers’ fleet vehicles. This role requires the technician to be highly skilled in diagnosing and repairing various mechanical and electrical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and more. Technicians will be expected to work independently, traveling to customer locations to provide timely and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Mobile Service Operations:
      Respond to customer service calls for on-site vehicle diagnostics and repairs at various locations.
    • Perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs on all Idealease Lease and Rental trucks.
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
    • Replace and repair brake systems, suspension components, and powertrains.
    • Conduct system diagnostics using computerized equipment to identify issues and verify repairs.

    • Customer Service:
      Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Offer clear and accurate updates on the status of vehicles and the repair process.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction with all repairs and services performed.
    • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification from an accredited vocational school preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic, technician, or in a similar field. Experience working with commercial trucks or fleet vehicles is highly desirable.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
