Job description

Trinity Metro has an immediate opening for a Service Attendant. The incumbent will service the buses, vans, and company vehicles. The incumbent in this position will represent the Maintenance Department in a positive, customer-friendly, respectful, honest, and professional manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning equipment, vehicles, parking area, and grounds
  • Operating vehicle washing machines and vacuum cleaners
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Wiping dashboards and windows
  • Dusting bus panels, cleaning tire rims, scrubbing the back of the bus, picking up trash, operating vehicles on the bus lot, and completing major cleaning on a monthly basis of transit vehicles
  • Other duties include fueling, steam cleaning seats, checking oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and antifreeze, as needed, preparing oral and written reports of vehicle damage, logging in mileage, and fuel counts.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must be able to work a 6 pm - 2 am shift on various days, Sunday - Saturday.
