Job Summary

The Client Service Associate plays a vital role in supporting Financial Advisors and providing exceptional service to clients within a small, family-owned Raymond James office located in West Seattle. This position serves as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients, assisting with account maintenance, client service requests, operational functions, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, personable, and committed to delivering superior client experience while contributing to a collaborative, close-knit team environment. We are seeking someone who brings a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the financial services industry. This is a full-time, office-based position that requires in-person attendance during normal business hours. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of customer service, administrative, banking, financial services, or related experience.

Preferred

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a brokerage, wealth management, banking, or financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of investment accounts and financial services operations.

Candidates with a strong customer service background, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn will be considered, even if they have limited experience in the financial services industry.

Licenses/Certifications

Required

  • None.

Preferred

  • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification.
  • FINRA Series 7 and/or Series 66 licenses, or the ability to obtain licenses as required by the firm.
  • Additional industry registrations or certifications relevant to the role.

Working Conditions

  • This position is based in our West Seattle branch office and requires full-time, in-person attendance during normal business hours.
  • Standard business hours are Monday through Friday.
  • Frequent interaction with clients, Financial Advisors, and internal business partners.
  • Regular use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform routine office tasks.
  • May require occasional attendance at client events, training programs, or branch meetings.
