Job description

*This role supports contingent workforce initiatives and related staffing efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize, review, and interpret data related to aircraft, weapon, mission-system, or product support programs.
  • Maintain configuration control of acquisition products, program documentation, and technical data.
  • Track configuration changes, change packages, approvals, and related action items.
  • Coordinate and support the development, review, and routing of Engineering Change Proposals and related documentation.
  • Apply government-established processes for documentation control, change control, configuration management, and data management.
  • Support configuration control boards, working groups, technical reviews, and program meetings.
  • Maintain tracking tools, status reports, logs, and repositories to support visibility of configuration actions.
  • Coordinate with engineering, logistics, contracting, program management, and government stakeholders.
  • Review documents for accuracy, consistency, traceability, and compliance with program requirements.
  • Prepare meeting materials, minutes, action item logs, data call responses, and program status inputs.

Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline and Active Secret security clearance.
    • Associate's degree plus two additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
    • Four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties similar to the functional description.
  • 5 years of experience supporting Naval aviation or comparable DoW acquisition programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with government, military, and contractor stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional briefs, reports, and correspondence.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting aircraft, weapons, avionics, mission systems, or aviation support equipment.
  • Familiarity with configuration control boards, ECP packages, data management, and technical documentation workflows.
  • Experience supporting government documentation and change-control processes.

Work Environment
  • This position supports a Department of War aviation acquisition program and may require on-site support at a government or contractor facility.
  • The role requires frequent coordination with government customers, contractor teammates, and cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Work products may include program documentation, briefings, reports, schedules, financial inputs, action item trackers, and meeting support materials.
