Job description

Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is looking to add to our Food Service Team. Compass Park is a vast 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County adjacent to Indianapolis. It is a vibrant community through all seasons and a place of beauty, rich in tall trees and winding footpaths. This job is in Franklin, IN.

Food Service Aide Responsibilities:

● Demonstrates knowledge of food preparation for modified diets based upon restrictions relating to age, nutrient, and texture modifications. Able to explain food safety issues appropriate for age.

● Adheres to Compass Park Department Policy and Procedures on Universal Precautions and patient isolation.

● Communicates any resident/ employee related problems to appropriate personnel.

● Ability to take orders, enter them into POS system. Ability to give excellent customer service.

● Follows board of Health and department sanitation procedures and maintains clean, sanitary working environment. Identifies and utilizes chemicals used, following directions recommended by manufacturers and per MSDS sheets.

Food Service Aide Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior experience preferred but not required
  • Must be 15 years of age
