Are you passionate about helping customers, solving automotive problems, and turning great service into long-term relationships? At Gills Point S, we're looking for an experienced Service Advisor II who combines strong automotive knowledge with exceptional customer service and sales skills.

You'll help them make informed decisions about their vehicles while working closely with technicians to ensure every repair is completed accurately, efficiently, and with the highest level of care.

What You'll Do

Customer Service & Relationship Building

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from vehicle check-in through delivery.
  • Build trust by listening to customer concerns and recommending solutions that improve vehicle safety, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships through honest communication and professional service.
  • Resolve customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and urgency.

Automotive Sales & Service Advising

  • Perform all responsibilities of a Service Advisor I.
  • Understand the skills and workflow of a Service Technician II to accurately communicate repairs and recommendations.
  • Conduct detailed vehicle walk-arounds and inspections to identify tire, preventative maintenance, and basic mechanical service opportunities.
  • Recommend tires, maintenance, and repair services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and confidently present repair recommendations, timelines, and pricing.
  • Educate customers on preventative maintenance, tire care, and vehicle safety.
  • Identify opportunities to recommend additional services that provide genuine value to the customer.
  • Schedule tire, preventative maintenance, and basic mechanical services.

Team Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely repairs.
  • Coordinate workflow to maximize shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Order tires and monitor inventory availability to support service operations.
  • Maintain accurate repair orders and customer records.


Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of Automotive, tire, and service advisor experience required.
  • Technical or vocational training in automotive technology is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of tires, preventative maintenance, light mechanical repair, medium truck, TBR, and agricultural tire applications.
  • Outstanding customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven sales ability with a consultative, customer-first approach.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience using point-of-sale and shop management software.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness to pursue TIA Certification with company support.
