Job Description

Position Summary:

As a Server you would greet and serve guests in a friendly, professional manner according to Meadowood’s standards and procedures under the direction of the outlet manager. Servers provide the guests with the highest standards of food and beverage service, thereby creating long term, loyal customers.

Major Responsibilities & Work Activities:

  • Serve guests and assist co-workers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take beverage/food orders from customers.
  • Handle special guest requests in a caring and attentive manner.
  • Be responsible for collecting payment for all food and beverage served.
  • Ability to run station through proper steps of service as detailed by departmental guidelines and direct Server Assistants to accomplish tasks.
  • Attend departmental meetings and trainings as scheduled.
  • Ability to converse professionally with guests.
  • Display knowledge of service standards and procedures.
  • Exhibit knowledge of cocktails, wine, beverage, and food menu.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • Two years food and beverage experience in a luxury setting.
  • Basic computer skills

Personal Characteristics:

  • Must be customer service oriented, understanding and caring.
  • Patient and empathetic with guest and staff questions and concerns.
  • Detail oriented, paying close attention to accuracy and able to perform many diverse tasks concurrently.
  • Trustworthy in word and action.

  • Must be able to maintain poise and self-control in stressful situations.
