Job description

Position Overview:
The Server Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining area, assisting servers with various tasks, and delivering food from the kitchen to customers. This role ensures guests receive exceptional dining experience by helping to keep the restaurant running smoothly, efficiently, and with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently, ensuring the dining area is clean and organized at all times.
  • Monitor dining area for each tableโ€™s progress and assist with preparing tables for reservations.
  • Assist in ensuring all menus, glasses, utensils, and napkins are clean and properly stocked.
  • Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately, ensuring the correct items are brought to the right guests.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer basic guest inquiries.
  • Work with the kitchen staff to ensure food is properly plated and ready for delivery.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and proactively assist wherever possible.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Fine dining experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior experience as a busser, food runner, casual dining server or in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with both guests and team members.

Physical Requirements:
