Job description

SCMI1 has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant position supporting the Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC).
Location:  SERMC: Mayport Naval Station, Mayport, FLJob Description/Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates travel arrangements for divisional staff. Ensure arrangements meet all travel needs.   Establish and maintain travel spreadsheets.  Reconcile monthly travel card statements.
  • Coordinate and schedule divisional meetings.  
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all communications and appearances.
  • Provide ancillary services as needed in conjunction with assigned duties.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year experience as an Administrative Assistant.
  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must hold a current Microsoft Office Specialist Associate certification obtained within the past 365 days. 
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance and clearing necessary background checks/assessments as required. 
  • Must have experience accomplishing a variety of tasks related to an Engineering organization.
  • Must have experience planning and accomplishment of short and long term goals.
  • Must have experience dealing with senior management as 
    this position will report to the Chief Engineer/Department Head of Engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience with all listed MS Office and business systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
