Job description

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Development of key Applications, providing Level 3 application support ,bug fixing, maintenance & enhancement of Derivative Trade-Flow Front End application suite
  • Work with PTG(L1/L2) Support analysts and IT operations to support critical/complex issues and provide workarounds/resolutions to fix issues.
  • Work with the team to enhance performance of the systems
  • Identify and provide resolutions for potential issues/bugs within the system
  • Manage production incidents, ensure appropriate ownership within support and where necessary development teams.
  • Perform analysis of identified issues or problems which may require changes to procedures, standards or systems. Ensure issues or problems are responded to, resolved, redirected or escalated to right levels
  • Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on complex problems and ensures resolution
  • Co-ordinate Market driven activities like Clearing House Firedrills, Trioptimas etc. with the business
  • Engage with end user/business stakeholders to identify problem areas and provide strategic resolutions
  • Supports the team in all day to day support aspects, including the coordination of activities and delivery dates between technical streams of production fixes
Desired Skills
  • 6-8 years of development and support experience on .Net platform
  • Candidate should have experience of design, development and delivery OO development experience (OOPS, Design patterns) using C# ,multi-threaded business applications.
  • Good design skill using n-tier architectures (scalability ,multithreading ,cross process, data layer) or SOA based applications.
  • Hands on skills in Threading , Serialization, LINQ, Performance ,Security and Remoting, .Net 2.0,3.0 and 3.5 ,4.0 frameworks.
  • Database skills (SQL\Oracle), ability to write store procedure ,database tuning , performance optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of WCF, Web services, REST API.
  • Understanding of patterns like MVP,MVVM, MVC etc.
  • Hands on skill in WPF & WinForms.
  • Experience in Test-driven development (TDD) and NUnit.
  • Excellent Communication skills required for stakeholder management.
