Role: SQA Engineer / Process Engineering Consultant


Location: Southfield, MI


Duration: 6+ Months



BGV will be done for the selected candidates.



The SQA Engineer is more project-specific... deals with auditing and compliance... ASPICE skills can be basic to in-depth... 5+ years experience.



The Process Engineering Consultant is higher level, more senior role and more in-depth... looking for deeper experience... develops process engineering organization... calls for sophisticated depth in ASPICE... this individual will roll out rules and norms to be compliant.



Must have worked in Automotive Industry



5 to 10 years of experience in an SQA role



Must have played role of Process lead during the last 2 years.



Extensive experience applying CMMI or ASPICE, and Functional Safety for software



Develop SQA plans with development teams, per organizational standards



Help assure the quality of activities and work products for software development projects, per the SQA plan.



Experience in software process improvement. Record of leading and deploying comprehensive improvements based on business needs, process requirements, and tool/infrastructure considerations



Experience performing software quality assurance, as defined by ASPICE. Ability to add substantial value by finding relevant/consequential risks and issues



Maintain records and effectively communicate the results of SQA activities, including presentations to management.



Identify critical issues and escalate them in a timely fashion



Identify common gaps and suggest improvements



Experience with ALM/software management tools, preferably PTC Integrity and Serena SBM.


Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 standard and it's application to commercial products.
