Belong to Something Beautiful
At Sephora, beauty is about feeling seen, valued, and empowered, individually and collectively. It is connecting deeply with others, celebrating diversity and inclusivity, unlocking your potential, and making a difference every day. Together, we belong to something beautiful.
Your Role at Sephora: Ready for a career glow up? As Senior Engineer, IT Services, you'll be designing and delivering enterprise-grade technology platforms that power Sephora's operations at scale. The work you do will impact beauty, as you build secure, scalable solutions across ServiceNow, Atlassian, and next-generation AI-first engineering workflows. You'll be part of a team that's united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about operational excellence, continuous innovation, and responsible technology.
What You'll Do:
  • Platform Engineering & Solution Delivery. Design, build, configure, and support IT Services platforms and integrations - actively directing AI agents to accelerate solution design, configuration analysis, documentation, and implementation planning.
  • Production-Ready Engineering. Write and maintain readable, testable, and reliable code, configurations, workflows, and integrations; critically validate AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, edge cases, and long-term maintainability.
  • Production Support & Operational Reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve complex L3+ production issues across supported platforms, leveraging AI agents to correlate logs, summarize incident timelines, and generate knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Technical Communication. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, product partners, and engineers to translate needs into practical technical solutions, using AI agents to draft design notes, compare options, and refine decision materials.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship. Share reusable engineering patterns, prompt templates, and workflow improvements; mentor teammates on prompt engineering, responsible AI review, and agentic SDLC practices.

What You'll Bring:
  • Enterprise Platform Expertise. 5-7 years of software/platform engineering experience with advanced, hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence); demonstrated ability to configure, integrate, upgrade, and troubleshoot across diverse environments.
  • AI-First Engineering Fluency. Practical experience applying AI agents, prompt engineering, and context management to engineering workflows - including code generation, test creation, debugging, incident analysis, and stakeholder communication - with proven ability to critically validate generated outputs before use.
  • Secure, Production-Grade Development. Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, Python, or comparable scripting languages; strong command of secure coding practices, least-privilege principles, REST/SOAP API design, and AI-specific risk awareness including prompt injection and data leakage.

What You'll Get:
The target hourly pay for this position is $155,070.00 - $172,300.00. The actual hourly pay offered depends on various factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
  • Caring Community. You'll collaborate with teammates who are equally passionate about innovating and driving the industry forward - together, united in beauty.
  • Fulfilling Path. Your career transformation starts here, with opportunities that will challenge, stretch and develop your skills.
  • Meaningful Work. As you make an impact on beauty, you'll feel and see the positive change (consumer, industry, and social) that your individual voice is a part of.

Rewards as Unique as You:
Some benefits have eligibility requirements and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
  • Health. Choose a healthcare plan to fit you and your family's needs with medical, dental, and vision coverage. Sephora also fully covers our employees' disability and life insurance.
