System Technician 

What we're looking for: 

An experienced electronic security installation technician to join our fast growing and dynamic team. 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Physically installing Field cabling and field equipment 
  • Some System programming 
  • Project activation and commissioning 

*Some travel may be required. 

What you bring to the table: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with installing and maintaining: 
  • Electronic access control systems. 
  • IP-Based video management systems 
  • Networking and IT knowledge. 
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle. 
  • Superior problem solving and communication skills. 
  • Work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards. 
  • Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment. 
  • Experience with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Work, Excel Etc. 

Preferred 

  • Access Control System Vendor Certifications in Software House, Genetec, ProWatch and/or Lenel or similar. 
  • Video Management System Vendor Certifications in Genetec, OnSSI, MaxPro, and/or Milestone or similar. 
  • Intrusion Detection System Vendor Certifications in Senstar/Optellios, and/or FFT. 
  • Experience in computer operating systems, network design and implementation. 
  • TWIC Cardholder.
