Job description

Job Title: GSS Data Analyst
Location: New Iberia, LA 70560
Duration: 6+ Months
Pay Rate: $20.00–$25.00/hr (W-2)

Job Summary:
The GSS Data Analyst is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery (PSD) by monitoring, recording, and reporting high-quality well data while ensuring compliance with HSE and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, record, and process well data and parameters, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
  • Maintain sensors, data acquisition systems, and related equipment at the wellsite.
  • Ensure all job deliverables are accurate and completed on time.
  • Compile End of Well Reports, daily logs, and ad hoc customer reports.
  • Provide timely, factual well information to customers and site personnel.
  • Interact professionally with customers and other service company representatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer well data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and comply with all HSE policies, PPE requirements, and safety training.
Work Scope:
  • 70% data acquisition / 30% reporting
Experience & Skills:
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong well control and well monitoring background.
  • Deepwater experience preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills and schedule flexibility.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Geoscience preferred).
Certifications (can be obtained post-hire):
  • TWIC
  • RigPass / SafeGulf
  • HUET
Work Environment & Schedule:
  • Offshore role with 12-hour shifts, averaging 88–92 hours per week.
  • Rotation typically 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off (may vary to 4x2).
Interviews:
  • Conducted via Microsoft Teams.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
  • Must pass fit-for-duty medical evaluation.
  • Must comply with all offshore safety and HSE protocols.
