Qualifications

Sr. WebSphere Administrator  needs Minimum 6 years of experience with IBM WebSphere tool suite with latest versions


Sr. WebSphere Administrator requires:

  • Deep Expertise in designing and deploying IBM Web Content Manager (WCM) and WebSphere portal based solutions
  • Minimum 4 years of Portlet development experience using JSR168 & JSR286 APIs
  • Strong development experience in Java, JEE, WCM, WebSphere Portal, WEF, Webservice technologies
  • Experience
    developing web applications with Struts, AJAX, EJB, J2EE, JSP, Java
    Beans, Java Script, Servlets, WebSphere, Swing and XML
  • Experience with IBM Connections, IBM Forms and IBM Content Manager
  • Experience with Search and Web Analytics
  • Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience in client technologies like AngularJS, Bootstrap, Node.js
  • In-depth analytical understanding of Java Application and JVM
  • Experience with Web services, REST APIs
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies
  • Experience
    leading all tasks in the development cycle, starting from business
    process definition, to configuration and unit testing, assistance and
    follow-up with user testing, to coordination of transports to
    Production, to training and post-live support and fixes, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience with Coremetrics preferred
  • IBM certifications for WebSphere Portal and WCM preferred individual
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study


Sr. WebSphere Administrator duties:


  • Demonstrates
    the ability to independently gather business requirements, design
    technical solution and implement solution, either alone or by
    coordinating with other IT resources
  • Develops, recommends, and applies new concepts, techniques, systems, and technologies within assigned area of expertise
  • Consistently demonstrates initiative to acquire and utilize new technical skills within job function
  • Delivers
    technical solutions that meet Business Requirements, IT technical
    standards and is sustainable in the planned productive environment
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently with strong initiative
  • Perform other work related duties as assigned.
