Job Overview:

Pay Range: $81.22hr - $86.22hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Seasoned WebSphere Application server Administrator with advanced knowledge of HTTP, Application Server, Java and Plugin components [version 8.5.5 and 9 ND edition].
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, installations, failover, disaster recovery, security configuration, LTM, Junctions, certificate management, and performance tuning for WebSphere.
  • Experience with automation tools such as XL/Deploy.
  • Strong UNIX and scripting skills including Shell Scripts, Python, and Jython.
  • Familiarity with MQ, File Transfer, and Database (Oracle/SQL) connectivity to WebSphere.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and collaborative skills dealing with customers and technical partners.
  • Familiarity with Change management processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide middleware IBM WebSphere System Administration support for critical applications.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Document automation processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Share knowledge with internal resources and assist with the development of in-house expertise.
  • Mentor team members and conduct code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in automated systems.
  • Continuously improve existing automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
