Job Description

Responsibilities: Work as a consultant with a larger team or independently Gather requirements and data, understand abstract concepts and then interpret with effective UI/UX design, addressing user and client needs Work fluidly/responsively in both mobile and desktop formats Design wireframes, user flows, information architecture, prototypes, and perform usability studies Collaborate with other UX designers, front and backend teams, product owners, project managers. clients and their customers to create great user experiences in often complex web products Work effectively and be able to time-box your design process Create effective, even stunning interactive solutions within scope Solve complex user interface problems with elegant, on-trend design Communicate professionally and transparently Finish what you start Qualifications/Requirements: BA in Design or related field Minimum 5 years in web/mobile design Complete fluency with industry design tools such as Illustrator/Photoshop/Sketch to develop all phases of UI Excellent communication skills - ability to take criticism and iterate on feedback Deep understanding of importance of UX and work to prove it Experience taking complex problems and creating smooth, seemingly simple user flows Portfolio demonstrating use of design principles and contemporary design trends Experience in dashboard and data visualization design Strong understanding of the responsive web Solid understanding of web technologies like HTML5 and CSS3, their usage/limitations Familiar with agile/scrum methodology Experience performing User Research, Persona development, User Journeys, Wireframe dev and creating Prototypes.
