As the VP Controller, you will provide systemwide leadership over financial processes, policies, systems and technology to support organizational goals, while overseeing accounting, accounts payable and other core financial functions. In this role, you will lead a broad financial organization that includes three directors and a team of approximately 40 professionals and ensure alignment, operational excellence and high performing results. 

In this highly visible leadership position, you will partner closely with senior executives and work directly with the CFO on strategic financial matters. As the VP Controller, you will guide teams through urgent and complex issues, uncover the root causes of recurring challenges and drive consistent, sound decisions that protect the organization’s long-term financial health. The role requires a forward-thinking mindset focused on mitigating risk, strengthening financial systems and processes, and identifying opportunities that support Community’s ongoing growth and success. 

 

Education & Experience  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field required 
  • Significant executive-level experience in financial leadership within a large healthcare or complex organization, with oversight of multiple financial disciplines required
