Peoples Gas System is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst (FP&A) in Tampa, Florida to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making within a regulated energy utility environment. This senior-level finance role is ideal for experienced Financial Analysts, Senior Financial Analysts, or Finance Business Partners with strong expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and business performance insights.

This role plays a key part in driving financial performance, cost optimization, and capital planning across a growing energy organization serving communities throughout Florida.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Youโ€™ll play a key role in annual budgeting, forecasting, and longโ€‘range planning, with increasing scope and leadership.ย 

Core Responsibilitiesย 

  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Performย financial modeling, variance analysis, and trend analysis to support business decisions
  • Partner with business leaders as aย finance business partner to drive performance and accountability
  • Develop and deliverย monthly financial reporting and executive-level insights
  • Supportย capital planning, O&M budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Analyze financial data to identifyย risks, opportunities, and operational efficiencies
  • Provide recommendations that supportย strategic decisions and regulatory compliance
  • Improve financial processes, reporting tools, and data accuracy
