We are a full-service title company for both residential and commercial real estate transactions providing title insurance, real estate closings, construction disbursements and other related services.

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Title Insurance Underwriter or Attorney to join our dynamic underwriting team. In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting title insurance policies, reviewing complex real estate transactions, and providing legal guidance to clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of title insurance, real estate law, and risk assessment practices.

Starting salary will be based on experience.

Job is located in office, no remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Review real estate documents, title commitments, and surveys to identify and resolve title issues.

  • Draft, analyze, and underwrite title insurance policies for residential and commercial properties.

  • Advise clients, agents, and staff on legal matters related to title, escrow, and underwriting procedures.

  • Collaborate with closers, examiners, and escrow officers to ensure smooth and compliant transactions.

  • Research and interpret real estate laws, regulations, and court decisions affecting title insurance.

  • Participate in training and continuing education programs as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in title insurance underwriting, real estate law, or a related field strongly preferred.

  • For Underwriter - college degree in business, reals estate or related field preferred.

  • For Attorney - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
