Role: Non-Profit Senior Accountant Contract (Intacct preferred)

Pay: $37 - $40 / hour 

Hiring Type: Temp/Temp-perm

Location: Washington D.C

Office Schedule: 3 days a week on-site

Our client, a reputable nonprofit is looking to bring on Senior Accountant for an indefinite period of time, The opportunity has potential to convert to be permanent employee. Looking for candidates with below technical skill as well as mission driven!

Requirements

·      Bachelors in a business-related field

·      Non-Profit Industry experience

·      3+ years Strong month End & Financial Statement prep experience

·      Sage Intacct highly preferred

 

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting a range of accounting processes including accounts payables, general ledger, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, month end, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

·      Lead and manage the monthly and quarterly close process

·      Prepare bank reconciliations, balance sheet accounts and various other general ledger accounts, as needed.

·      Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and internal management reports for leadership and program teams.

·      Assist in preparing grant-specific financial reports and invoice
