Job description

The initiative focuses on developing a cloud based Alert Dashboard that provides visibility into MRO operational exceptions, including spare parts order behavior, repair yield issues, demand signal deviations, and supply chain disruptions.

The Senior Business Analyst will partner closely with operations, supply chain, and data teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications, define alert logic, validate root cause categories, and ensure the dashboard aligns with MRO workflows and decision processes.
The dashboard will present alert prioritization, severity, operational context, and recommended playbook actions, enabling routing to the correct persona for resolution.

Business Analysis & Functional Scope

  • Define business rules for alert triggers, severity scoring, categorization, and operational routing.
  • Map current state vs. Futures tate MRO processes to ensure the dashboard supports Digital Transformation objectives.
  • Create detailed functional specifications for dashboard behavior, drill‑downs, workflow steps, and user interactions.
  • Validate data sources, operational definitions, and exception thresholds with SMEs.
  • Partner with engineering and data science teams to ensure business logic is accurately implemented.
  • Support UAT planning, execution, defect triage, and readiness activities.

Preferred Skills & Expertise (Senior Business Analyst Focus)

  • Deep knowledge of MRO operations, including repair/overhaul processes, planning, demand management, supplier performance, and inventory optimization.
  • Strong Digital Transformation and process‑reengineering expertise, including identifying automation opportunities and designing improved end‑to‑end workflows.
  • Ability to define alert thresholds, KPIs, and exception logic that reflect operational priorities.
  • Experience translating business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
  • Familiarity with analytics and data consumption (Dashboards, KPIs, exception logic), and ability to collaborate with data and ML teams.
  • Strong communication skills to bridge business and technical discussions.
  • Experience with enterprise workflow platforms (e.g., Webcon or similar) and understanding of routing logic and playbook‑driven actions (preferred).

Deliverables

  • Comprehensive business requirements and functional specification documents.
  • MRO process maps (current‑state and optimized future‑state).
  • Detailed alert logic definitions, severity rules, and routing criteria.
  • User stories, acceptance criteria, and UX input for dashboard and workflow features.
  • Stakeholder alignment materials, including workshops, walkthroughs, and prioritization sessions.
  • UAT plan, test cases, and results documentation.
  • Operational readiness and training materials for end users.
  • Optional: Post‑launch support for adoption, process alignment, and enhancement planning.

Engagement Expectations
