Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to an exceptional talent acquisition experience. Each day, you will work closely with HRBPs and hiring managers to ensure sourcing and hiring strategies are followed. You will also showcase your expertise by providing periodic updates on market trends/position conditions to the wider people function and talent acquisition team, as well as the business.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Talent Acquisition team and supporting various stakeholders.
You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Managing the end-to-end talent acquisition processes for the assigned requisitions, acting as a trusted advisor to the business hiring managers.

  • Partnering with HR leadership and business leaders to understand and solve current issues in the candidates' pipeline, candidates' experience, that can be supported or resolved through existing HR practices, processes, or policies in functional specialty.

  • Using and updating relevant recruitment, sourcing, candidate engagement and employer branding systems in support of the talent acquisition function.

  • Recommending, developing, and assisting in the implementation of special programs in recruitment, sourcing, talent attraction and employer branding.


Qualifications for the role

  • 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including recruitment of technical and professional positions.

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes, employment legislation, and recruitment compliance requirements.

  • Strong consultative approach with the ability to advise on market conditions, talent availability, and recruitment best practices.

  • Experience using various proactive sourcing tools, CRM platforms, and talent market intelligence tools to identify, engage, and attract diverse talent pools.

  • Proven track record of managing multiple requisitions while meeting service-level agreements (SLAs), recruitment KPIs, and quality-of-hire objectives.

  • Fluency in both English and French is required for this role given the client groups we support across Canada and in some cases outside the country.
