Job description

Job Summary:
Orgill is seeking a motivated Mid-level Snowflake Developer to join their Master Data Management (MDM) team. The role involves architecting, optimizing, and securing the Snowflake environment to ensure a single source of truth for the organization's data analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the maintenance and evolution of the Snowflake cloud data platform.
• Design and implement efficient schemas (Star/Snowflake) that support complex MDM workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineering to streamline data ingestion from sources like Salesforce.
• Deconstruct complex business requirements into high-level technical designs and granular, actionable tasks for the development sprint.
• Actively participate in Sprint planning and stand-ups to provide effort estimations, identify technical dependencies, and communicate progress to non-technical partners.
• Evaluate how new data requirements or schema changes will impact downstream Tableau reporting and existing MDM lifecycles.
• Configure and manage advanced security services, including RBAC and data masking.
• Act as a technical bridge between BI, Retail services, and other teams to translate requirements into high-performance solutions.
• Provide Tier-2 support for complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Guide junior team members in understanding the complete data analytics stack and workflow.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, database design, and the MDM lifecycle.
• Proficiency in writing complex, optimized SQL queries.
