As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll be the cornerstone of this mission, ensuring the security of crucial data, optimizing IT infrastructure, and simplifying business processes through cutting-edge software systems. Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
  • Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
  • Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
  • Performs complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects
  • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology
  • May serve as a team or task lead
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects


Qualifications:


Education/Experience:

  • BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • 8+ years of related systems engineering experience
  • TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI poly


Required Skills:

  • Linux system administrator
  • Kubernetes

  • Scripting / Coding (Bash, Python, etc.)

  • A deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following:

    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies
