Has comprehensive understanding of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards and their application. Responsible for performing all aspects of engineering and design. Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard design engineering techniques for a small project or selected segments of a larger project to produce designs that satisfy the requirements of building designs in accordance with applicable governing codes.This requires the application of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria where the scope is already outlined in the form of contract drawings, specifications, one-line drawings and component estimates derived during the Step 1 process.
