Job description

The Customization Group

Senior Accountant
(Columbus, OH)

Own the reconciliations, close, and audit support that keep our US operation clean. On-site in Columbus.

Are you a detail-driven accountant who takes real ownership of the numbers? We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage invoices, payments, reconciliations, and vendor communication for our US operation, playing a key role in keeping our finances accurate and audit ready.

About TCG

The Customization Group is a global leader in mass customization and print-on-demand e-commerce. We manufacture up to 2.5 million unique, personalized products daily across production sites in Germany, Poland, the USA, and Latvia. Millions of customers find us through our 20+ online shops and 1,000+ partner stores. Our 750+ team members come from 40+ nationalities and work at the intersection of manufacturing, e-commerce, and AI.

The Role

You'll own the day-to-day and period-end accounting for our US entity: reconciliations across every account, expense controls, month/quarter/year-end close, and tax and audit coordination. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, documentation, and ownership matter more than anything.

In a nutshell: Reconcile every account. Control the expenses. Close the books on time. Keep us audit-ready and the intercompany flows clean.

What You Will Do
  • → Own reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations across bank accounts, PayPal, credit cards, petty cash, inventory, accrued, prepaid, fixed assets, and landed cost accounts.

  • → Control expenses: Manage expense tracking and controls, including Navan expenses, American Express follow-ups, and supporting documentation.

  • → Drive the close: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including payroll accruals, inventory offsets, and reporting packages for headquarters.

  • → Coordinate tax and audit: Handle sales tax filings, state audits, and provide documentation to internal and external auditors.

  • → Manage intercompany: Own intercompany transactions and payments, including reconciliations, bank payment initiation, and approval support.

Who We're Looking For
Sounds like you?
  • A degree in Accounting or a related field, with a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.

  • Fluency in English is required, and Spanish is a welcome plus, not a mandate.

  • QuickBooks experience is a plus, but if you've used other accounting systems that's perfectly fine too, as long as you're able to adapt.

  • Strong Excel skills for maintaining financial records and generating reports.

What We Offer
  • International experience in our globally spread teams, within an owner-managed company.

  • A pleasant work atmosphere with a motivated team.

  • Comprehensive health and vision insurance to support your well-being.

  • 10 days paid time off per calendar year, plus recognition of 7 major holidays.

  • Exciting projects and real development opportunities.

Not sure you meet every requirement? We encourage you to apply, even if your experience doesn't match every qualification listed. What matters most to us is your ability to take ownership and make an impact in a growing, dynamic environment.

One team. Millions of happy customers worldwide. Join us!
