Job Summary:

The Solutions Specialist is responsible for working closely with clients, understanding their business objectives, and designing customized solutions to meet their needs. They must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex challenges and provide innovative recommendations. This role requires excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively convey solutions to clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Translates the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex technology solutions and integrating architecture.

  • Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems.

  • Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites. This position should be used for individuals who are actively and yearly meeting with and presenting to clients.

  • Individuals who are coding and building system prototypes or demos based on specifications provided and do not have direct client contact should be matched to Systems Programming.

  • Individuals who are developing new products or enhancements to existing products that are not client-specific should be matched to roles in the Engineering functional area.

  • Employees focused on advising clients on how to set up their systems to be secure and/or providing consulting and outsourcing services should be matched to this position or to Technology Consulting.

Required Skills:

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's/ master's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related discipline

  • 7+ years' experience in leading a cross-functional and collaborative team.
