Senior Software Engineer
On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a Senior Software Engineer for a 12-month contract role. This position is 100% onsite Austin, TX / Secondary work locations - Southlake, TX, Richfield, Ohio
Job Description:
The Senior Software Engineer will develop software solutions by interpreting written requirements and technical specifications. This role focuses on software maintenance, defect correction, and client problem investigation. The engineer will also conduct various tests on software, document results, and suggest solutions for detected issues.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Interpret written requirements and technical specifications to develop software solutions.
โ€ข Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and services.
โ€ข Analyze and document client-reported problems.
โ€ข Perform software maintenance and correct defects.
โ€ข Author and execute unit, integration, and manual tests; implement test plans and test harnesses.
โ€ข Investigate and recommend solutions for defects detected during testing.
โ€ข Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and engineers in an agile environment.
Mandatory Skills:
โ€ข Proficiency in C# / .NET for backend services.
โ€ข Experience with Angular for front-end applications.
โ€ข Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
โ€ข Knowledge of SOAP services and legacy integrations.
โ€ข Experience with PCF (Pivotal / Tanzu Cloud Foundry).
โ€ข Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
