Job Description:
Metas Solutions has an "opening" for a Senior SharePoint System Architect/Technical LeadYou will work with a team of SMEs and clients supporting our federal government client population. You will support SharePoint administration and site collection, perform design and redesign, development and implementation of SharePoint sites and workflows, and work on a team to support and redesign a new site. Primary activities include technical/architecture configuration, site design and construction, web/mobile application development, custom coding where applicable, migration of legacy sites and data, change management control, standard operating procedure recommendations relating to routine maintenance, and end user support.
Responsibilities:
  • The role includes a combination of development activities, Operations and Maintenance as well as Operational support to current SharePoint online applications.
  • Provide SharePoint website development. As needed, automate, and facilitate administrative processes using comprehensive knowledge of program support/administrative processes within client divisions.
  • Provide consultation to programs regarding their site installation, to include maintenance and development on an enterprise SharePoint system, processes for starting SharePoint sites, type of sites allowed, enterprise standards, governance processes, development process, documentation process, security process and any other SharePoint processes and process changes required.
  • Facilitate site implementations by escalating issues and problems to the appropriate client contact or by providing alternative acceptable solutions.
  • Resolving SharePoint operational issues and answering relevant questions through Service Desk Support and other ad-hoc support.
  • Determine recommended solutions to meet customer needs and other complementary tools such as Nintex Online and SharePoint Forms and Workflows, JavaScript, PowerBI, PowerApps, Power Automate and Microsoft Teams.
  • Provide analysis, design, and database development by implementing tools such as Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server Reporting Services, tSQL, and other standard development technologies.
  • Provide efficient and accurate technical documentation of SharePoint sites. Be familiar with 508 compliance and ensure all technical documentation and sites are Section 508 compliant.
  • Stay informed of SharePoint processes for internal and external sites and share impacts with clients. Provide research and analysis for issue resolution and recommendations on all owned SharePoint sites as part of site management. Also provide guidance and continually advise on administrative policies and procedures within each client division.
  • Share knowledge and technical expertise through publishing, teaching, and/or mentoring. Provide all technical and system administration duties and analysis of a SharePoint Site administrator for various SharePoint sites.
  • Will perform development for new SharePoint projects as well as ongoing maintenance and client support.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science and/or related program.
  • Must have relevant Microsoft certification(s) including SharePoint Certifications.
  • 4 or more years of experience in a SharePoint Developer role.
  • Proven experience working within an Agile development team.
  • Deep knowledge of SharePoint architecture, administration, and development.
  • Experience with SharePoint development including SharePoint Forms and workflows, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Experience with using various workflow solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the full software life cycle.
  • Expert verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in supporting federal government and public health clients desired.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint security, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
