Job Summary:
Nightwing is a company that provides advanced cyber, data operations, and intelligence mission support services. They are seeking a Senior Security Administrator to protect mission-critical systems and sensitive information while leading the design and implementation of security protocols.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide security systems and protocols.
• Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems in alignment with federal regulations, agency policies, and industry best practices.
• Provide expert-level guidance on security policy development, system hardening, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Operate independently on mission-critical and high-visibility initiatives, ensuring security objectives are met without compromising performance.
• Serve as a technical leader by mentoring and overseeing junior staff and coordinating the efforts of personnel assigned to specific security initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating complex security requirements into actionable solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance
• 10+ years of hands-on experience performing duties aligned with this role (or an approved qualifying substitution)
• Current TS/SCI CI Poly Clearance
• IAT Level II certification compliance (required)
• Proven ability to lead security efforts in complex, regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards, risk management frameworks, and enterprise security architectures
• The confidence and expertise to work independently while contributing to a collaborative security team
