Are you an administrative professional seeking an opportunity in a new field? Are you considering a return to personnel security support or trusted workforce vetting? If you want to use your administrative experience in an environment that allows you to directly support national security, we have an opportunity for you!
Amentum is seeking security-minded individuals with attention to detail, strong communication and excellent customer service skills to join our team of security administrators providing support to personnel security vetting in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Our security administrators will provide a wide range of support functions that may include the following, depending on office assignment: customer service support, data entry, review of security clearance paperwork and relevant reports, redaction, file maintenance, filing, records management. Security administrators may perform other duties as assigned in support of personnel security processing and clearance vetting, to include review of reports and cases for completion. Security administrators should be detail orientated, able to balance multiple tasks and redirect as priorities change. Candidates should be comfortable learning to use new proprietary computers systems and spending the majority of the work day using computers to review and generate reports. Candidates should also be familiar with use of fax machines, scanners and multi-line phone systems.
All work will occur at a fixed customer location in the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA) and work shifts will cover the program core hours of 9am-3pm Monday-Friday.
Security Administrators must have:
  • Excellent writing and communication, skills and good judgment
  • Demonstrated high level of personal integrity and the ability to discreetly handle sensitive, personal and classified case information
  • Ability to navigate and operate automated systems for case tracking and status reporting
  • Knowledge of the federal rules and regulations that govern personnel security
  • Knowledge and ability to use computer operating systems/tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong time management
  • Ability to provide on-the-job training to teammates
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and competing priorities
  • Broad experience working with personnel security policies and practices

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Developmental-minimum 1 year experience in a security related discipline.
  • Full Performance-3-5 years of administrative experience in a security related discipline.
  • Senior-7+ years of personnel security experience.
  • Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance at time of application with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting this customer
  • Bachelors degree in any discipline
