Job description

Job Summary:
Demand Chain is a company dedicated to improving the lives of its team, clients, and communities. They are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to deliver complex Salesforce solutions, design and maintain custom solutions, and collaborate closely with other technical professionals.
Responsibilities:
• As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a critical role in delivering complex Salesforce solutions for our clients.
• You will design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and platform automation
• Translate business and functional requirements into thoughtful technical designs
• Partner closely with solution architects, consultants, and analysts to shape technical direction
• Build solutions that are scalable, secure, and understandable by other developers
• Design and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools, and event-based patterns
• Participate in and lead code reviews focused on quality, performance, and sustainability
• Troubleshoot complex issues across environments and releases
• Support deployment, release management, and CI/CD practices
• Communicate technical risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams
• Contribute to technical standards, patterns, and shared best practices across Demand Chain
• You will be hands-on. You will write code. You will be trusted to make decisions and expected to stand behind them.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Deeply experienced in Salesforce and confident in their technical judgment
• Curious by nature and always asking 'why' before 'how'
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making tradeoffs
• Strong problem solvers who think beyond the immediate ticket
• Clear communicators who can explain technical decisions in plain language
• Motivated by quality, scalability, and long-term maintainability
• Continuous learners who stay current as the platform evolves
• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, ideally in a consulting or client-facing environment
• Strong, Hands-on Experience With Apex
• Lightning Web Components
• Salesforce automation and security model
• Experience designing and supporting Salesforce integrations
• Strong understanding of governor limits, performance considerations, and data modeling
• Experience managing multiple workstreams or projects at the same time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Salesforce Platform Developer I required
Preferred:
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and release management tools
• Experience with Data Cloud, complex data architectures, or large data volumes
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing
• Prior experience mentoring developers or contributing to technical enablement
• Experience working across multiple Salesforce clouds
• Exposure to large-scale or enterprise Salesforce environments
• Platform Developer II preferred
• Additional Salesforce certifications are a plus and supported
