Overview:

We're seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team in an academic environment. This role is for a hands-on developer who thrives on building scalable, efficient Salesforce solutions. You'll be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying custom applications and integrations that support critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure Salesforce using Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, and formula fields to meet business requirements.
  • Implement and manage security models including roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • Build and maintain Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) portals to enhance user engagement and collaboration.
  • Develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce tools.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Write efficient, bulk-safe Apex triggers and classes, following best practices for performance and scalability.
  • Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all development work.
  • Provide on-call support as part of a rotation, resolving production issues quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agentforce or similar AI-enhanced platforms is a plus, especially for automation and intelligent workflows.
Qualifications:
