Senior Analyst, ISA at a glance....
The Senior Analyst, Integration & Separation Accounting, oversees the Manufacturing & Operations (M&O) accounting operations for divestitures, acquisitions, or other strategic transactions in order to yield timely, accurate, and meaningful information to aid management decisions. The role partners cross-functionally to assess deal impacts, define operating model and control requirements, and execute cutover activities including chart of accounts mapping, intercompany design, consolidation/reporting changes.
The ideal person manages the Manufacturing and Operations accounting areas such as Inventory and all COGS accounts (variable & fixed) and recommends accounting policies in line with the latest GAAP and regulatory standards. The role demands broad knowledge of accounting practices and a strong grasp of P&L and balance sheet dynamics to prepare strategic recommendations to management and diligence partners. Success requires adaptability and comfort with ad hoc analyses in a fast-paced M&A environment.
What's on the menu?
  • Own the integration & separation lifecycle coverage (diligence support, planning, process design, TSA execution, external manufacturing agreements, and stabilization)
  • Prepare diligence requests for potential M&A transactions to inform adjustments and the management report.
  • Design processes to enable smooth transition during a divestiture or acquisition and communicate processes to the broader finance and accounting organization
  • Construct, deliver, and present buyer-facing reporting packages to provide supporting documentation for carved financial statements and substantiate carve accuracy.
  • Drive the execution of M&O accounting for divestitures and mergers by performing full financial statement reconciliations, journal entries, analysis, and month-end processes
  • Execute month-end close procedures to properly account for TSA activity by leveraging expertise in material ledger costing, overhead absorption, capitalization policies, and BOM/routing master data
  • Work closely with third parties and cross-functional departments to coordinate all necessary deliverables
  • Establish a repeatable framework and build a 'playbook' flexible enough to routinize the acquisition/divestiture cycles

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, CPA or MBA preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience, transaction advisory experience, or accounting experience within the CPG industry
  • Should have cost accounting exposure and be knowledgeable in cost accounting methods allowed by US GAAP
  • Ability to produce high quality work in ambiguous environments, analytically interpret financial information, and improve business processes
  • Display a business partnership mindset and work seamlessly across business functions
  • Experience with Excel, SAP, Claude or CoPilot, and Hyperion Financial Management a plus

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$89,800.00 - $112,200.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
