The site produces large, criticalaircraftstructures-including wings, fuselage sections, and structural assemblies-for leading aerospace customers such as Boeing and Gulfstream, combining advanced manufacturing, industrialization, andqualitydrivenproduction processes. Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior General Procurement Buyer to lead and optimize indirect procurement activities across Daher's North American sites. This role is responsible for driving category strategies, managing supplier performance, and delivering cost efficiencies while aligning with global procurement objectives.

You will play a key role in building supplier partnerships, ensuring compliance, and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives in a dynamic, multi-site environment.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

1. Purchasing & Performance
  • Manage indirect procurement categories including general services, facilities, industrial supplies, and non-strategic IT spend
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFI/RFP, bid analysis, negotiation, contracting)
  • Develop and implement annual cost-saving initiatives across all supported sites
  • Ensure compliance with Daher procurement standards, processes, and North American regulations
  • Monitor budgets, including cost savings, cost avoidance, and forecasts
2. Supplier Management
  • Analyze, rationalize, and optimize the North American supplier base
  • Track supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and risk metrics
  • Resolve operational issues and support invoice/payment discrepancies
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers to enhance competitiveness and innovation
  • Manage long-term agreements and ensure contract continuity
3. Strategy & Coordination
  • Align regional procurement activities with Daher's global category strategies
  • Collaborate with European procurement teams on global sourcing initiatives
  • Drive synergies across sites: Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Sandpoint, Charleston, and Stuart
  • Lead or participate in sourcing committees and cross-functional meetings
  • Conduct supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
4. Project Management
  • Lead cross-site procurement projects (multi-site RFQs, contract harmonization, cost optimization)
  • Deploy procurement tools, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Support CAPEX and industrial investment projects
  • Manage contract renewals, timelines, and implementation roadmaps

What you need to have:

Technical Skills
  • Strong expertise in sourcing, RFQ/RFP processes, negotiation, and contract management
  • Solid understanding of U.S. commercial and legal requirements
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and operationally
  • Strong analytical capabilities (spend analysis, KPIs, supplier risk analysis)
  • Comfortable working in a multi-site, matrix, and multicultural environment
  • Fluency in English (French is a plus)

  • Knowledge of U.S. contracting and compliance requirements is strongly desired

  • The compensation range is $85,000 to $100,000 in base salary plus an annual target bonus.
