As an Analyst in Credit Risk Management team, you will support Chase Card Services by delivering analytics and insights that inform credit risk decisions for co-brand portfolio initiatives and new product features. You partner across Risk, Product, Marketing, and Technology to balance portfolio performance with business objectives and to strengthen decision rules and monitoring. You help us identify risks and opportunities, translate analysis into clear recommendations, and support strong risk management practices.

Job responsibilities:

  • Analyze and challenge the performance of key business initiatives, delivering insights and recommended actions
  • Define problem statements, identify risks and opportunities, secure stakeholder alignment, and support end-to-end initiative delivery
  • Identify and assess performance trends using statistical, data mining, and quantitative methods
  • Conduct root cause analysis and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Prepare and present risk monitoring reports and insights to senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Support development and maintenance of the risk management framework, helping ensure alignment to regulatory expectations
  • Monitor internal and external behavioral data and industry trends to continuously improve risk management processes
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support portfolio risk decision rules and ongoing enhancements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Operations Research
  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills with ability to structure and execute analyses logically
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into practical solutions and concise executive-ready presentations
  • Experience using at least one analytics tool such as SAS, SQL, Python, or Tableau, with some coding experience
