Job description

Senior Revenue Accountant | 3–4 Month Contract


We’re partnering with a high-growth SaaS company in the Bay Area seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant for a 3–4 month consulting engagement.


What you’ll do:

  • Review software/SaaS contracts and assess revenue recognition under ASC 606
  • Analyze performance obligations, contract modifications, variable consideration, and revenue allocation
  • Support monthly/quarterly revenue close, including JEs, reconciliations, flux analysis, and schedules
  • Reconcile revenue data across Salesforce, NetSuite, and Stripe
  • Partner with Sales Ops, Deal Desk, Legal, and Revenue Accounting on contract-related questions
  • Support revenue reporting, audits, and accounting documentation


Ideal Background:

  • Strong SaaS/software revenue recognition experience
  • Hands-on ASC 606 and revenue close experience
  • Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce
  • Able to work independently and hit tight close deadlines
