The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for conducting complex data analyses and developing competitive pricing structures across multiple practice areas in close collaboration with attorneys. The role provides high-level financial and strategic insights to the firm's Financial Approval Chairs and Practice Group Leaders to support informed pricing decisions, effective project management, and achievement of the firm's economic objectives. The Senior Pricing Analyst leverages advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to interpret and clearly communicate complex findings and to optimize data hygiene, data quality, and standardization across pricing-related systems, while also supporting other strategic and financial projects. This job can be hybrid or remote.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis in support of pricing decisions and support the firm's efforts to drive effective project management.

  • Assess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.

  • Utilize AI-powered visualization and reporting tools to translate complex analyses into clear, concise narratives and dashboards.

  • Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to increase market share and profitability.

  • Track client engagement to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings.

  • Apply statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.

  • Recommend pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and identify new market segments.

  • Collaborate with business development and marketing departments on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies.

  • Develop dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends.

  • Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to leadership and other relevant teams across the firm.

  • Stay current and informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends.

  • Support various strategic and financial projects while accomplishing core responsibilities and other critical functions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to identify and analyze issues and problems and to work towards solutions.

  • Proven excellent financial modeling skills; analytical with the ability to comprehend and clearly communicate data.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a closely related field; any combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position's duties may be considered.

  • Minimum of four (4) years of in-depth knowledge of pricing and budgeting at AmLaw 200 law firm.

  • Demonstrated experience performing detailed analyses independently.
