Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience providing geriatric counseling services.
  • Specialized training in geriatric mental health or age-related challenges is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of evidence-based interventions for elderly mental health and the challenges faced by this demographic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with elderly clients and their families.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering individual and group therapeutic interventions for elderly populations facing diverse mental health challenges.
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice, specifically as they pertain to geriatric care.
  • Empathy and cultural sensitivity to provide inclusive care for clients from various backgrounds.

  • Wellness programs designed to foster healthy lifestyle choices and mental well-being.
  • Flexible work arrangements that encourage work-life integration.
  • Health savings accounts or flexible spending accounts to help manage healthcare expenses.
