What this job involves:
As a Senior Financial Analyst at JLL, you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence across our global commercial real estate platform. This position combines advanced financial modeling, strategic analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support critical business decisions that shape JLL's market leadership. You'll work directly with senior leadership teams, providing insights that influence investment strategies, operational efficiency, and client solutions. What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards that inform strategic decision-making across business lines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Asset Management, Leasing, and Operations to analyze performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities, gaps, and financial risks
  • Support cost-savings and process improvement initiatives
  • Lead monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including budget vs. actual analysis and forecasting updates for assigned portfolios
  • Oversee accounts receivable maintenance and research, focusing on items over 30 days past due to meet AR objectives and metrics
  • Partner with senior leadership to prepare board presentations, investor materials, and client reporting packages
  • Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting including informal and formal internal and documents, reports, graphs, charts and presentations.
  • Support team's efforts to develop efficient reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes while preserving data integrity
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 3-5 years of progressive financial analysis experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas; experience with financial systems preferred but not required (E1/JDE, PeopleSoft Financials, Corrigo)
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy and ability to make effective decisions and solve problems
  • Proven track record in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within corporate finance or real estate environments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting financial information to senior executives
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification demonstrating commitment to financial excellence
  • Previous experience in commercial real estate, REIT operations, or real estate investment management
  • Proficiency in advanced analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar business intelligence platforms
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards, particularly as they relate to real estate
  • Experience with debt and equity financing structures, including construction loans, permanent financing, and joint venture arrangements
  • Familiarity with property management systems and lease administration processes
  • Project management experience with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and process improvements

Estimated compensation for this position:
90,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
