Qualifications
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is necessary for this position.
  • A strong foundation in the specific psychological and social challenges experienced by college-age individuals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students and faculty.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and brief intervention models suited to a university counseling center.
  • The capacity to manage a diverse caseload and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced, often dynamic environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting or university counseling center is preferred.
  • Proficiency in telehealth systems and familiarity with digital client management software.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops or group therapy sessions.
  • Demonstrable involvement in outreach and preventative mental health initiatives.

  • Generous benefits package encompassing comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, and ample paid time off.
  • Opportunities for professional development through workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance your expertise.
  • A supportive and vibrant work culture, where collaboration is encouraged, and teamwork is prioritized.
  • Access to university resources including libraries, recreational facilities, and various cultural events that enrich your professional and personal life.
