SUMMARY

The Real Estate Analyst works with the executive team to identify and analyze real estate and business investment opportunities throughout the U.S. In this role, the Analyst will gather and analyze financial data to build models, perform variance analysis and provide investment summaries to the investment committee.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build financial models, cost analysis, pro-forma and discounted cash flow models
  • Understand deal structure and analyze complex business issues; perform rigorous and accurate analysis and modeling
  • Financial analysis of acquisitions of all income-producing and/or properties for development
  • Preparation and delivery of investment reports and summaries to investment committee
  • Assist in building new acquisition opportunities and interact with banks, investors, clients
  • Develop an understanding of the business and strategies of supported departments
  • Provide the executive team with financial planning & analysis support for new initiatives and other ad hoc projects
  • Conduct preliminary investigations on market conditions for new opportunities including detailed market research

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years financial analyst experience
  • Conceptual knowledge of core business disciplines including real estate finance, investment principles, corporate finance, and accounting
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills, able to express ideas and describe information in a clear and concise manner
  • Professional presence to interact with executive management
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously with demanding deadlines in a small team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities to accomplish objective
