Role Summary
Providing expert-level wireless solutions, this senior role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced wireless communication systems to ensure reliable, high-performance connectivity. The position requires a strategic thinker capable of integrating innovative wireless technologies, including private 5G, CBRS, DAS, Wi-Fi, and IoT networks. The role demands onsite presence in Houston, Texas, to support client needs over a contract period of 3 to 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive wireless architecture strategies, including private 5G, CBRS, DAS, RAN engineering, Wi-Fi, and IoT networks.
  • Analyze client and organizational requirements to customize wireless network infrastructure solutions.
  • Evaluate new wireless technologies and recommend integration approaches to existing systems.
  • Collaborate with network engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to align solutions with technical and business objectives.
  • Oversee network security protocols and ensure compliance with telecommunication standards.
  • Optimize network performance through RF planning, spectrum management, topology design, and automation.
  • Lead the planning and execution of wireless infrastructure projects, including roadmap development.
  • Prepare technical documentation, system integration plans, and performance optimization strategies.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic planning.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery aligns with technical requirements and business goals.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in IT or related fields, with a focus on wireless networks.
  • Proven expertise in wireless communication protocols (LTE, NR, IEEE 802.11) and network design tools.
  • Strong RF and spectrum management skills, including radio frequency planning and network topology.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with problem-solving expertise.

  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Houston, Texas.

Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 - $70.00 USD Hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
