To thrive as a Senior R Shiny Developer, you need advanced proficiency in R programming, strong experience in building interactive Shiny applications, and a solid background in data analysis or statistics, often supported by a relevant degree. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, deployment tools (such as Docker or Shiny Server), and knowledge of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are typically required.
